Validatie en betrouwbaarheid van de Nederlandstalige versie van de Fear-Avoidance Component Scale

De Fear Avoidance Scale blijkt een goede maat om vrees vermijding te kunnen detecteren, onder meer omdat zowel cognitieve, emotionele en gedragscomponenten van vreesvermijding bevraagd worden. Dit instrument werd in 2015 ontwikkeld door Neblett en collega's en is oorspronkelijk Engelstalig.

In deze validatiestudie werden de psychometrische kwaliteiten van de naar het Nederlands vertaalde versie onderzocht bij patiënten met chronische lage rugpijn, en bij patiënten met chronische schouder-, heup- of knieproblematiek.
